6m 6elements Magic Band Antenna 6m6DX6 for DX-ing and Contesting
Low Noise High Gain 6m 6elements Magic Band Antenna 6m6DX6 will make sure you can hear weak signals and give you the extra edge you need in contests or just enjoy the Ham Radio Hobby. 6 Elements 50 MHz Yagi provides stunning performance across the DX band: 50 – 50.5 MHz. Old name PA50-6-6BG.
What does 6m6DX6 mean?
6m – Magic band antenna 50MHz
6 – Elements
DX – Intended for use in DX part of band 50-50.5MHz with excellent SWR
6 – 6m boom with extremely strong construction.
Major step forward in Ham Radio communication.
The antenna has been calculated with the latest full 3D Electromagnetic Simulation Software, with included the influence of the boom, brackets, and connectors.
Performances of such way designed antennae are extraordinarily better than antennas “designed” with just wire programs like EZNEC Pro/4 – NEC v5.0, 4NEC2, MMANA, AO, or YO that can’t calculate the influence of any metallic structure near the antenna elements.
That will lead to wrong predicted antenna performance like gain (about -0.2 to -0.5 dB), SWR (when tuned often very sharp resonance), and specially F/B (up to -20 dB worse than predicted) and accordingly absolute wrong G/T. Much worse than predicted. Just excellent on paper or web pages but not in reality.
Calculating with full 3D EM Software gives an opportunity for uncompromised performance. Much better than any other world competition. High gain, heavy suppression of all side lobes. Solid construction that can withstand strong gusts of wind of more than 160 km/h!
Guy rope support is specially made for high winds, heavy rains, or strong Sun. Designed tapered elements reduce wind load, as well as vibrations in the wind.
Before dispatch, we assemble each and every antenna and test antenna characteristics. That means you can expect exceptionally good electrical and mechanical characteristics including low SWR across the designed range immediately after assembling.
No need to move, cut, tune or use rasp for any element to get perfect SWR on the intended frequency range. Everything is pre-tuned.
That lead also to another very important detail. When assemble and test each antenna is complete with all washers, nuts, bolts guy rope supports, etc.
When packing all parts are already on the antenna without the possibility of “forgetting” important parts to put in the box. So you will always receive the complete antenna that we tested just before dispatching.
The antenna does not have a power limit, the only limitations are in the used balun and antenna connector.
The default maximum power input is 1000 W.
6m6DX6E 2500W with 7/16 DIN input connector and SF250 7mm Teflon cable
6m6DX6EX 8000W with 7/16 DIN Input connector and RG115 10mm Teflon balun cable
Like all our antennas, 6m6DX6 is complete
Everything is included in the antenna box. The antenna, balun with the connector, and the bracket with the clamps. Designed to last.
