The antenna has 9 elements on 50 MHz and is devoted to EME, low noise terrestrial, contests, and hunting the Moon. This is the longest 6m band antenna you will ever need. The antenna has an almost 12.6m long boom but it is extremely strong. Can withstand strong gusts of wind of more than 150 km/h! The same goes for assembling. Ham Radio antenna has 9 elements it is very easy to set up. Everything is labeled, just put number to number. Can be assembled with cheap hand tools, as well as with power tools.

50 MHz 9 element is calculated with full 3D EM Software giving the opportunity for uncompromised performance. The antenna has high gain with extreme suppression of all side lobes.

Mechanically strong antenna. A tapered boom is durable. 9 elements on antennas are tapered to reduce vibrations at high winds, as well as reduced wind load.

Pre-tuned antenna:

Before dispatch, we assemble each and every antenna and test antenna characteristics. That means you can expect exceptionally good electrical and mechanical characteristics including low SWR across the designed range immediately after assembling.
No need to move, cut, tune or use rasp for any element to get perfect SWR on the intended frequency range. Everything is pre-tuned.

That lead also to another very important detail. When assemble and test each antenna is complete with all washers, nuts, bolts guy rope supports, etc.
When packing all parts are already on the antenna without the possibility to “forget” important parts to put in the box. So you will always receive the complete antenna that we tested just before dispatching.

Antenna Power Options:

PA50-9-13BGP antenna does not have a power limit, the only limitations are in the used balun and antenna connector. The default maximum power input is 1500 W. If you wish for higher power, send an e-mail with desired maximum power in mind.

Antenna Power Rating does not affect the electrical or mechanical characteristics of the antenna. PA50-9-13BGP, PA50-9-13BGE, and PA50-9-13BGEX have the same characteristics, the only difference is in antenna maximum input power.
