2 Elements, 70 – 70.5 MHz – 4 meter Yagi antenna PA70-2-08A
70 MHz small Yagi antenna PA70-2-1A. It is 2 element Yagi designed for 4 meter band. In the box is everything included. Antenna + balun with connector + bracket… Elements are tapered to reduce vibrations at the high winds. Boom is just 0.8 meter long. Since this Ham Radio antenna has 2 elements it very easy to set up. Antenna is very good for field day since it is light-weight or even for permanent setup since antenna is very sturdy.
Starting element diameter is 12 mm, middle part 10mm and 8mm ends. Tapered elements will reduce the wind-load. This Ham Radio antenna has widest possible azimuth radiation pattern. 70 MHz 2 element Yagi is good for vertical stacking in permanent setup since this wide angle allows listening to ham radio stations without frequent rotator movement. It is good for E-sporadic season since when there is an opening you don’t need much gain for it.
This 70 MHz has the best performance in the class length of 0.8m. Direct 50 Ohm feed. Our antennas are constructed with the best quality materials for the best mechanical properties and longevity. All screw, nuts and bolts are stainless steel.
Due to the 4m band being fairly low in activity, we want to support and offer special low priced antennas.

Before dispatch, we assemble each and every antenna and test antenna characteristics. That means you can expect all the electrical and mechanical characteristics including low SWR across the designed range immediately after assembling.
No need to move, cut, tune or use rasp for any element to get perfect SWR on intended frequency range. Everything is pre tuned.

Measuring the whole band from 70 MHz to 70.5 MHz. Mesured with HP8753ES 6GHz Network Analyzer. SWR is less than 1.1 across the designed range.
