What does 5B11HD mean?

5B – Covers 5 bands 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m and 10m
11 – Elements
HD – Heavy Duty construction.

HF 5Band antenna 5B11HD can fit in the middle of rotary towers or on the top. OK for towers not wider than 0.7 m. It will perfectly fit with about 16.5 cm of space from all elements to the tower. Ideal for a Five-band stack.

The antenna uses a common feed line. Input power is limited by the feed line only. Very low SWR on all five bands

Antennas-Amplifiers Product Benefits. A Major advance in Amateur Radio antenna design.

  • Gain and F/B superiority.

All antennas have been calculated using state-of-the-art full 3D Electromagnetic Simulation Software including the influence of the boom, bracket, baluns, and connectors.
The performance of antennas designed using these techniques is exceptional, far better than antennas designed using “wire” programs.

  • No tuning antennas

Before dispatch, we assemble each antenna and test antenna characteristics. That means you may expect exceptionally good electrical and mechanical characteristics including low SWR across the designed range immediately after assembling.
No need to tune the dipole, or any other element to get perfect SWR on the intended frequency range. Everything is pre-tuned.

  • Easy to set up

Everything is labeled, just put number to number. The antenna can be assembled with hand tools.
Everything is included in the antenna box: Antenna, balun with connector, bracket, and pre-set guy rope support. Yours is to assemble and have fun!

    Built to last it is heavy but i will never have to replace it ,its truly a life time antenna ,it was so easy to put together as the factory use a numbers hand written on the build so you can not go wrong , it is tested in the factory before it is sent out, boxing was well taken care of , and there SWR is bang on what there add says Amazing Antenna ,,,its already been through a few storms 120kph and i was very impressed with how little it all moved , if you are looking for a LIFE TIME ANTENNA i recommend this one ,i give it a *****+ stars

    update , this summer we have had 2 cyclones ,1 only side swiped me winds of 80kph…but the last one cyclone Gabrielle got me big time ,140+kph and still the antenna took it ,it has to be the strongest antenna i have ever had ,WELL DONE ANTENNAS & AMPLIFIERS looks like a antenna for life ..

    Today 10/31/2023 I mounted the antenna. The VSWR is very good on all bands:
    20m = 1.06
    17m = 1.08
    15m = 1.1
    12m = 1.04
    10m = 1.2
    I made a few QSOs and the performance is perfect.

    Congratulations for this great achievement and I am delighted with this antenna.
