430 – 440MHz Low Loss Input BandPass Filter with Very Low Noise Preamplifier PGA-103+
The device contains a High Selectivity, High Q, and Low Loss Bandpass Filter -0.13dB with VLNA.
An integrated 70 cm Bandpass filter is perfect for suppressing out-of-band signals from 2 m or 23 cm stations.
70 cm – 432 MHz or 430 to 450 MHz bandpass filter and preamplifier in one is very immune to out-of-band signals.
It consists of two devices:
1. 70 cm 430 – 440 MHz Ultimate Receiving Bandpass Filter
2. Wideband Low Noise Amplifier with PGA-103+
Achieves better results than two separate components, a lower NF about 0.05 to 0.1 dB. Thanks to two fewer connectors.
Measured results with HP8753ES network analyzer full two-port calibrated:
Frequency and Gain:
28.4 MHz: -52 dB
50.11 MHz: -40 dB
70 MHz: – 33 dB
FM 88 MHz: – 27 dB
FM: 108 MHz: – 22 dB
144 MHz: – 15 dB
222 MHz: – 1 dB
430 MHz: + 20.3 dB NF = 0.63 dB Input RL better than -18dB
432.1 MHz: +20.3 dB NF = 0.63 dB Input RL better than -18dB
440 MHz: + 20.2 dB NF = 0.63 dB Input RL better than -18dB
720.5 MHz: – 1 dB
864.2 MHz: – 12 dB
1240 MHz: – 29 dB
1296.1 MHz: – 32 dB
IP3out: > 37 dBm
Power consumption: +10-15 V / 100 mA
These excellent results were achieved by careful selection of components and design. Thanks to input filtering, the preamplifier and bandpass filter combination are much more immune to interference from strong out-of-band signals. Compared to output filtering.

Manu –
The repeater has been back on air since Thursday.
The bandpass/preamp is placed on the Rx side and the results are fantastic.
A station on his sailboat at a distance of 70km with 5w came over the repeater perfectly.
