6 meter 200 W Extreme Low Loss Transmitting and Receiving Band Pass Filter

Transmitting 200 W 50 – 52 MHz band-pass filter for chasing DX-es sunk into the noise.

A low Insertion loss filter should be placed before any LNA to protect the receiver from HF transmitters in DX expeditions or in multi-multi environments. This BPF will suppress any harmonic on 100 MHz, 150 MHz, and more.

As its attenuation is only 0.11 dB, and the possible maximum output power is 200 W, this bandpass filter is ideal for both reception and transmission.

The recorded data on the assembled filter with HP8753ES full 2-port calibrated are presented below.

We measured Return Loss (S11) and Insertion Loss (S21). Characteristics of 50 MHz Bandpass filter for up to 200 W transmitter.

 

 

The measured SWR is between 1: 1.01 and 1: 1.04!
