VHF RFI Filter For TV Signal Reception for HF – 6m stations
This VHF RFI Filter For TV Signal Reception will block common mode currents from HF – 6m ham radio stations and prevent interference with TV reception. VHF RFI Filter will filter all signals below 111 MHz TV “S2” channel, which represents the lowest cable TV channel in cable TV reception. All HF and 6m frequencies will be weakened by 30 dB or more. VHF RFI Filter must be placed just before the TV aerial socket with the shortest possible RG6 or RG59 cable (5-20cm).
The main application is to pass cable TV from S2 – 111MHz to UHF 868 MHz and suppress all frequencies below (HF, 6m).
The VHF RFI filter is composed of a VHF symmetrical high pass filter and common mode chokes.
