144 MHz – 146 MHz 50 W Low Loss Receiving and Transmitting Band Pass Filter for 2 meter Band
Intended for use with transceivers and transverters up to 50 W output, or before any wide band low noise amplifier (LNA) to protect from out-of-band signals.
This filter is as good as a transmitting and receiving filter with a super low loss (0.19 dB).
Super low insertion loss. Excellent to put before any LNA or protect the receiver from HF, 6m, 4m, or 70cm transmitters. This band-pass filter will suppress any signals from HF 1.8 – 28MHz stations 50-54MHz, 70MHz, 432MHz (430 – 440MHz).
The filter will reduce TVI problems too.

Achieved results on a built Bandpass filter:
Insertion loss:
1.8 MHz – 110 dB
3.8 MHz – 113 dB
7.1 MHz – 108 dB
14.15 MHz – 97 dB
21.2 MHz – 88 dB
28.4 MHz – 82 dB
50 MHz – 63 dB
54 MHz – 61 dB
70 MHz – 51 dB
70.5 MHz – 51 dB
88 MHz – 40 dB
98 MHz – 34 dB
108 MHz – 26 dB
144 – 146 MHz – 0.19 dB
288 MHz – 49 dB
430 MHz – 60 dB
432.1 MHz – 60 dB
440 MHz – 59 dB
Maximum power input at SWR:
1:1 = 50 W; 1:1.5 = 40 W; 1:2 = 30 W; 1:3 = 25 W
These excellent results were achieved by carefully selecting components and designing the filter.
Measured Return Loss (S11) and Insertion Loss (S21).
More measured results with HP8753ES network analyzer full two-port calibrated.
1. Measured HF Attenuation:
2. HF and 50 MHz band attenuation:
3. FM attenuation:
4. 144 – 146 MHz band attenuation. Excellent flatness on a 2-meter band. Attenuation on 144 MHz: -0.19 dB, 145 MHz: -0.19 dB, 146 MHz: -0.19 dB, 148 MHz: -0.19 dB.
5. Harmonic and UHF attenuation.
2 meter: 144, 145, 146 MHz 50 W Band-Pass filter with high suppression for out-of-band signals.

50W transmitting and receiving band-pass filter could be used for outdoor mounting, price difference: +9 EUR (plastic box “DB” and bracket).
