2m CROSS Antenna 1500W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP switch will allow you to change the three most important polarizations with full power 1500W. Horizontal, Vertical, and Right-Hand Circular polarization. The only condition is the electrical length between two perpendicular dipoles must be 90° or 520mm on a 2m band.
That condition satisfies all our 2m CROSS antennas.
It does not matter do you want to work LEO Satellites that you need RHCP polarization or terrestrial / EME contests where in most cases, you will need just horizontal or vertical. You will be always at your best. Maximum polarization mismatch will be 3dB or less. With the possibility to fast switch the best appropriate polarization.

How does 2m CROSS Antenna 1500W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP work?
Use two identical cables of any length. On one side connect to the CROSS antenna. Let’s say on 2m20CROSSDX (that antennas use Peter KA6U on extremely successful EME expeditions across the United States).
On the other side, connect the cable from the horizontal polarization antenna to the appropriate input on the polarization switch. The same for the vertical polarization antenna.
The default position is horizontal polarization. It means you do not need any power supply to connect to the switch. The transceiver will be connected automatically to the horizontal polarization antenna.

The 2-Way divider is internal. Solved with high-power Teflon coaxial cable.
Default polarization is Horizontal. You do not need to apply any voltage to the 70cm CROSS Switch.
Apply +12V to +12V pin on the 2m CROSS Antenna 1500W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP
Vertical polarization is obtained with relay 3 (Rly3) on the schematic or the device setting pin “V” to “-“.
RHCP polarization is obtained by applying a voltage to relays 1, 2, and 4 or on the device setting pin “RHCP to “-“

What do you need to switch polarizations from horizontal to vertical and RHCP?
- The simplest solution is to use just a 3-way rotary switch. On one side connect to the power supply and on the other side to 2m CROSS Antenna 1500W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP terminals.
- The same but with added LEDs for indication of actual polarization.
- Electronic switching for station automation.
2m CROSS Antenna 1500W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP Measurements:
Excellent results. On horizontal polarization achieved minimal insertion loss of just 0.068dB with a super low SWR of just 1.06.
Vertical polarization. Achieved minimal insertion loss of just 0.069dB with super low SWR of just 1.04.
RHCP polarization. Achieved minimal insertion loss of just 0.156dB with included loss of internal 2-Way power divider. SWR is just 1.08.
These ultimate product results are achieved on Rogers substrate.
Polarization switching should be done exclusively “on cold”. Without any applied power.
