Low Noise Radio Preamplifier 87.5 – 108 MHz with integrated Band Pass Filter
Super Low Noise preamplifier with integrated Input Band Pass filter for chasing weak signals in FM range 87.5 – 108 MHz.
Input filtering will prevent overloading from out-of-band signals.
Outdoor mounting of super low noise preamplifier for FM range 87.5 – 108 MHz.

This FM preamplifier combination consists of two devices:
1. Low loss band pass filter 88 – 108 MHz on the preamplifier input side. Insertion loss just 0.35 dB
2. Wideband Low Noise Amplifier with PGA-103+
Input connectors “F” 75 Ohms
Achieves better results than two separate components.
Lower NF about 0.05 to 0.1 dB. Thanks to two fewer connectors. Measured results with HP 8753 ES network analyzer full two-port calibrated:
Frequency and Gain:
HF band: > – 26 dB
50 MHz: – 8 dB
88 – 108 MHz: + 25 dB, NF=0.85 dB
145 MHz: – 27 dB
432 MHz: – 28 dB
These excellent results were achieved by careful selection of components and design.
Thanks to input filtering, the FM DX preamplifier and bandpass filter combination are much more immune to interference from strong out-of-band signals.
Measured Return Loss (S11) and Gain (S21) of VLNA FM DX Radio FM 87.5-108 MHz low noise amplifier
FM super low noise preamplifier for 87.5 – 108 MHz is enclosed in a strong 0.8 mm sheet brass box.
Strong mechanics will ensure stability and longevity.

Hans –
I installed the preamplifier together with my FM5DX yagi yesterday, and it works perfectly. Signal-to-noise has improved, and even if we have no conditions/propagation at all right now, BBC Radio Scotland became audible with a quite good signal.

Sulaiman –
I used FM DX 87.5-108 MHz Low Noise Preamplifier With Integrated BPF in my receiver system, and I was impressed with the quality and clarity of the received signal.
In previous seasons 2024-2025, I was able to pick up distant stations FMDX with several jumps and Transequatorial Propagation (TEP)
