222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 1300W
Achieve much better results on EME, MS, or DXing with this 222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 1300W
222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 1300W will allow you to change the three most important polarizations with a full 1300W power. Horizontal, Vertical, and Right Hand Circular Polarization. The only condition is the electrical length between two perpendicular dipoles must be 90° or 337mm on a 1.25m band.
That condition satisfies all our 1.25m 222MHz CROSS antennas.
It does not matter whether you want to work EME, DX, or MS. You will always be at your best. Maximum polarization mismatch will be 3dB or less with the possibility of fast switching to the best appropriate polarization.

How does 222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 1300W work?
Use two identical cables of any length. Connect the horizontal polarization antenna to the appropriate input on the 1.25m polarization switch. The same is true for the vertical polarization antenna.
The default position is horizontal polarization. This means you do not need a power supply to connect to the switch. The transceiver will be connected automatically to the horizontal polarization antenna.
The inside schematic is below.
The 2-Way divider is internal. Solved with high-power Teflon coaxial cable.
Default polarization is Horizontal. You do not need to apply voltage to the 1.25m CROSS Switch.
Apply +12V to +12V pin on the 1.25m CROSS Antenna 1300W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP
Vertical polarization is obtained with relay 3 (Rly3) on the schematic or the device setting pin “V” to “-“.
RHCP polarization is obtained by applying a voltage to relays 1, 2, and 4 or on the device setting pin “RHCP to “-“

All is the same for the four antennas. Instead of two 2-Way divider use a 4-Way 1.25m divider.
What do you need to switch polarizations from horizontal to vertical and RHCP?
- The simplest solution is to use just a 3-way rotary switch. On one side connect to the power supply and on the other side to 1.25m CROSS Antenna 1200W Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP terminals.
- The same but with added LEDs for indication of actual polarization.
- Electronic switching for station automation.
222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP How to Switch Polarizations:
The best is to use Advanced Sequencer to change polarizations:
Advanced Sequencer Front View Antenna Selector:
Connecting Advanced Sequencer with 1.25m Polarization Switch. Wiring:

Advanced Sequencer will prevent hot-switching.
1.25m 222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP Measurements:
Excellent results.
222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 220-225MHz Horizontal Antenna Insertion Loss and Return Loss.
Achieved minimal insertion loss of just 0.06dB with a Return Loss of excellent -37 dB.

Vertical polarization. Achieved minimal insertion loss of just 0.07dB with Return Loss -30 dB

1.25m 222MHz CROSS Antenna Polarization Switch H-V-RHCP 220-225MHz RHCP SWR just 1.03

These ultimate product results are achieved on Rogers substrate.
With Advanced Sequencer antenna polarization change will always be”on cold”.
